We use your information to:\n\n• Create and maintain your account\n• Show your listings and profile to other users\n• Facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers\n• Send push notifications about your listings, bids, and messages\n• Detect fraud and ensure platform safety\n• Improve the MyStar app and develop new features\n• Comply with legal obligations under Indian law
We share your information only as follows:\n\n• With other users: your public profile (name, city, verified status, listings) is visible to other MyStar users. Your phone number is not shared publicly.\n• Service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Google Firebase (push notifications), Razorpay (payment processing). These partners process data only on our instructions.\n• Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by Indian law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.\n\nWe do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:\n\n• Your profile, device listings, and saved items are deleted within 30 days\n• Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and financial compliance under Indian accounting laws\n• Anonymised usage analytics may be retained indefinitely

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, row-level security on our database, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
MyStar is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at ${EMAIL} and we will delete the account promptly.
